High-school seniors Dominique and Wes are two inexperienced teens who explore first love, and sex, together. Written in Dom’s authentic voice, this debut. About. Before this all happened, the closest I’d ever come to getting physical with a guy was playing the board game Operation. Okay, so maybe that sounds. “Like [Judy Blume’s] Forever, this sensitive, candid novel is sure to find a wide audience among curious teens.”–Booklist Before this all happened, the closest I’ d.

Dec 27, Estelle rated it really liked it Shelves: No character personality with ALL the characters. Realistic and relatable situations: She brings her medical brain mentality to every situation and at some times, it is a bit funny.

I would recommend this book to a wide variety of mature people including both young adult males and females. It’s no holds barred, but like Snadowsky covered things in Boyfriend, it’s real.

Nevertheless, I wanted to continue it, because I felt motivated to see where it went. It’s personally important to me to not have my life revolve around a boy at least until I’m married so when she started becoming entirely too fixated on him, I sort of found myself disappointed with her. Snadowsky should get awards for anatimy so sandowsky honest. Oct 03, Raeleen Lemay rated it liked it Shelves: As Dominique’s love increase for Wesley, Wesley’s love becomes indifferent.

Anatomy of a Single Girl

And other sexual stuff. Loving you made me give it up to you. Dom is ready for love again, but this new guy takes her on a different path than what she had with Wes from the first b I was so psyched to get the galley from my librarian. Pf, Dom anatmy a headache for me. It was an adventure and experimentation. Her and her other half, Amy, are such a great pair – I love that even though they are going to school across the country from one another, they can remain best friends.

Review: Anatomy of a Boyfriend by Daria Snadowsky | The YA Kitten

There are just so many questions a teenage girl needs to get answered and I’m happy to note that this one does answer them. I learned things myself – not just educationally about sex and all that goes with it, but also about love and relationships through Dom’s experiences. Because it wasn’t a complete suckfest, I’m still going to go with two stars, but it just barely earned that second star.

I love Dom – she is such a fun character. Similarly, the plot boufriend through realistic choices and decisions made by the lead characters. Kingdom of Ashes by Rhiannon Thomas.

Jan 14, Joanne rated it it was amazing Shelves: It’s really like she becomes this huge train-wreck of a character. She met this high school senior at a track meet. It was so frustrating for me. I have to say a big thank you boyyfriend Daria Snadowsky for sending me her Anatomy novels. It wasn’t my cup of tea, personally.

Anatomy of a Boyfriend by Daria Snadowsky | : Books

You could say Wes and I experienced a lot of firsts together that spring. Maybe Snadowsky does it to connect with the audience as it has changed, but with a solid setting in mind from the first book, the inconsistencies with book two really bother me. Written in an unflinchingly candid style, Daria Snadowsky’s Anatomy of a Single Girl is an addictive contemporary read which held my interest from the very first page.

Dominique has just finished her first year as a premed student at university, and after months away, she’s returning home for the summer to complete a volunteer internship at the local hospital. Dominique Dom is a serious girl and dreams of becoming a doctor.

Anatomy of a Boyfriend

I can’t stop thinking about this book. Other than that, though, her new experiences were all about growing up and discovering new things that every girl goes through. The closure that we get with anayomy characters and relationships is definitely satisfying. Her feelings for him became so intense. The only aspects of the story that bothered me, at times, were these: As I said, the honesty in this book really made it for me. I can see why people would snxdowsky like it, where others wouldn’t like it at all.

Amy and Dom have this cool friendship you could only hope for. This is when she meets Guy. Check out my full review of both this book and its companion, Anatomy of a Boyfriend, here:
